In the
Spring of every year, families of current students are offered the
Registration packet for the following year. Families are asked to
return them by the date requested by the School Office.
Families
who wish to enroll their child(ren) in St. Ann School for the first
time should contact the School Office (215-788-2030) beginning in
April to request registration information. The school policy states
that for a child to begin Kindergarten, the child must be 5 years
old by September 1, and for a child to begin first grade, the child
must be 6 years old by September 1.
Admission
to all grades is granted by the Principal. After reviewing the
registration packet, the Principal may require additional academic
information, report cards from former school, as well as an
interview of the potential student and parents. Medical records
concerning immunization information are required for admission to
St. Ann School. St. Ann School does not discriminate on the basis
of race, color, creed or national origin concerning admission
procedures or decisions.
TUITION RATES FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL
YEAR
There are
several rates of tuition, depending on the family’s membership in
the parish, as well as if they choose to participate in fund raising
activities throughout the year. Participating parish families
receive a discounted tuition, and multiple children from the same
family are given a discounted tuition. Several styles of payment
plans are available, and financial aid for families with
demonstrated need is also provided by the school. All tuition
obligations must be met before the child can begin another school
year at St. Ann.
The
tuition rates are established every year by the Parish Finance
Council and approved by the Pastor. The rates for the current
2004-2005 School year are:
